Sun simulation performance can be accurately predicted by validated raytracing simulation tools developed for the Large Space Simulator (LSS) and VTC1.5 thermal vacuum facilities.

Homogeneity and collimation angle can be accurately predicted for any specific set of customer requirements
Impingement on volumetric features can be accurately simulated prior to test, taking into account not only irradiance levels but also collimation angle
Specific test customer instruments can be simulated in great details, including spill over and stray light phenomena
