Force Measurement Device (FMD)

The Force Measurement Device (FMD) provides the 6 global interface forces/moments and local load cell forces during vibration testing. The FMD output signals can be used to control in real time the excitation level. In total up to 24 individual tri-axial force-links can be combined to support various standard interfaces as well as customized test setups.

Each force link consists of a load cell sensor pre-loaded by 2 mechanical parts to allow measuring the local forces in three orthogonal directions.
